Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist Program
Shore's Pediatric Care Center has CHOP physician specialists in pediatrics onsite 24-hours a day, seven days a week, to admit, consult and provide ongoing care to children.
Newborn Coverage
CHOP neonatologists, trained and experienced in newborn resuscitation and stabilization, are available to support deliveries or act as consultants, as requested by a patient's pediatrician or family physician.
Pediatric Emergency Consultation
In cooperation with the medical director for emergency services at Shore Medical Center, CHOP hospitalists are available around the clock to consult and help manage pediatric emergencies.
Educational Support for Shore Medical Center's Nurses
Shore's pediatric and maternity nurses have access to and regularly take part in the specialized educational services and programs offered through the nursing education program at Children's Hospital. Shore Medical Center maternity and pediatric nurses are fully certified in neonatal, pediatric and adult advanced life support.
