2008-2009 20th Annual Stainton Society Campaign Raises Over $1 Million for SHORE TOMORROW, The Campaign for Shore Memorial Hospital

Former First Lady Laura W. Bush was the featured speaker at the Shore Memorial Health Foundation’s 20th Annual Stainton Society Brunch on May 3 at Bally’s Atlantic City.

Over 800 people attended this year’s Brunch, the largest gathering to date. Stainton Society members contributed $1.1 million toward Shore Tomorrow – The Campaign for Shore Memorial Hospital, a five-year effort to raise $20 million toward the construction of a new, four-story Surgical Pavilion, main lobby, parking improvements and enclosed pedestrian walkway.

The 55th Annual D. Allen Stretch Jr. Golf Tournament

The 55th Annual D. Allen Stretch Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament held at Harbor Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township on June 3, 2009 raised $105,000 for Shore Tomorrow – The Campaign for Shore Memorial Hospital. Presented by Ocean City Home Bank, this year’s event attracted 222 golfers who competed for a variety of exciting prizes.

Leaders Alliance 2009 Girls Night Out

The Shore Memorial Health Foundation’s Leaders Alliance held its second annual Girls’ Night Out-Shop for CHOP on May 7 at Greate Bay Country Club. The ladies brought their girlfriends and left the guys at home while they shopped the finest in beauty and fashion this spring.

Over $22,000 was raised to benefit Shore Memorial’s new Pediatric & Adolescent Care Center and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Inpatient Program at Shore Memorial Hospital, which provides CHOP pediatricians on site at Shore Memorial 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
