Shore Memorial Hospital’s January Employee of the Month Recognized for Outstanding Customer Service

Excellent customer service and dedication to her work have earned Jodi Robbins of the Healthcare Information Management Systems (HIMS) Department Employee of the Month honors for January.

Robbins began her career at Shore Memorial as a part time Clerk I in HIMS in 2005. Within months she advanced to Clerk II full time and in August 2006 to Clerk III. Robbins is an outstanding performer in all areas of her job. A quick learner, she performs multiple tasks very well. Most notably she established processes that support perinatology and the chronic renal disease clinic services. Robbins represents HIMS on Shore Memorial’s Employee Embrace Fund committee and played a key role in the implementation of the electronic medical record.

"In recognition for outstanding performance in developing and maintaining the 'Discharge Disposition Confirmation Program' I nominated Jodi Robbins for a "Pat on the Back" award,” said Anne Cuomo, associate director, HIMS. “The program has been an extraordinary success.”

“When assigned the task of verifying all patient discharges, Jodi developed all the forms required to track the cases, created spreadsheets and graphs in order to track and provide more global data and has established and nurtured excellent working relationships with contacts from various facilities and agencies in order to ascertain the most accurate patient discharge information,” Cuomo added. “Jodi's creativity, resourcefulness and ability to see a project through are the reasons why this program has been such a huge success."

An area native, Robbins lives in Egg Harbor Township with her husband and three sons. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and being creative.
