Shore Medical Center is pleased to announce Lisa Sulzman, BSN, RN, Manager for the Emergency Department and Pediatric Care Center, is the recipient of the medical center’s 2012 1st Quarter Leadership Profile Award.
Sulzman joined Shore Medical Center in December of 2008 as Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department. In 2011, her responsibilities were increased to include Shore’s state-of-the-art Pediatric Care Center, the first family-centered emergency and inpatient facility of its kind in New Jersey.
In her leadership role, Sulzman consistently demonstrates her expertise as well as a passion for her work. Always willing to think creatively, she is committed to producing quality outcomes while ensuring patient satisfaction.
“It is very flattering to be recognized for my work at Shore,” said Sulzman. “This honor is a reflection of the efforts and dedication of my co-workers, who work tirelessly on behalf of our patients, their families and friends.”
Sulzman received her nursing diploma from the Helene Fuld School of Nursing, her Associate’s Degree in Science from Camden County College and her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from Rowan University. She is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus on Administrative Leadership at Sacred Heart University.
Sulzman lives in Berlin, NJ, with her husband Patrick and two children Taylor, 15, and Kyle, 14.
