New Doctors Join Shore Memorial Hospital’s Medical Staff

Three new physicians recently joined the medical staff at Shore Memorial Hospital.

Wael Kouli, M.D., has joined with privileges in general surgery. Dr. Kouli received his medical degree from University of Aleppo, Faculty of Medicine, Aleppo, Syria in 1996. He completed his internship in general surgery in 1999 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor and his residency in general surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia in 2004. Dr. Kouli completed his fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric surgery at Princeton University Medical Center in 2005. Board certified in general surgery, he is in practice with Trocki Surgery Center in Northfield.

Teresa Pirri McGrath, D.O. has joined with privileges in pediatrics. Dr. McGrath received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2005 and her residency in pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital in Camden in 2008. Board eligible in pediatrics, Dr. McGrath is in practice with Rainbow Pediatrics in Clermont and Egg Harbor Township.

Henry L. Souto, D.O. has joined with privileges in emergency medicine. Dr. Souto received his bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences at St John’s University College of Pharmacy in Queens, N.Y., in 1990 and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1994. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 1999. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Souto will practice on site in Shore Memorial’s Emergency Department.
