Shore Memorial Hospital’s Annual Carole Schiavo Kids Swim for Health

Siblings Francesca Geromini, age nine, Lucas Geromini, age four, and Joey Geromini age eight, of Linwood get ready to take part in the Auxiliary of Shore Memorial’s Annual Carole Schiavo Kids Swim for Health on July 10.

Shore Memorial Hospital’s Annual Carole Schiavo Kids Swim for Health took place on July 10 at the Mainland Recreational Association (MRA) in Linwood.

A total of 99 kids participated in this year’s swim. Participants were asked to collect pledges for the total number of laps they swam. All proceeds from the event went toward Shore Tomorrow—The Campaign for Shore Memorial Hospital. This year’s swimmers swam a total of 9,824 laps and raised over $10,000.

Top fundraisers for the event were: Lauren Berman who raised $800 and Megan Bralski who raised $653.50.

Top overall swimmers were Nichole Remy with 242 laps and Casey Butrus with 222 laps.
