Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for Shore Memorial Egg Harbor Township Thrift Shop

The Auxiliary of Shore Memorial celebrated the grand opening of its newest Thrift Shop location in Egg Harbor Township on August 20. Festivities included a ribbon cutting ceremony, a storewide half price sale and prizes and giveaways throughout the day. The half price sale was also extended to the hospital’s two other Thrift Shop locations in Somers Point and Seaville.

Located in the Harbor Village Square Shopping Center on the corner of Ocean Heights Avenue and Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township, the shop is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the store benefit Shore Tomorrow—The Campaign for Shore Memorial Hospital.

Volunteers are needed to process and sort donations, work the cash register, sort and tag clothes for pricing, stock shelves and assist customers. Anyone who has a few extra hours a week to share is welcome to volunteer during either a weekday or weekend shift. For more information about volunteering at the Egg Harbor Township Thrift Shop call (609) 601-2710.
