Shore Memorial Hospital to Host Cancer Survivorship Series
For cancer patients, the journey doesn’t end on their final day of treatment. There are many physical, mental and emotional hurdles that still must be overcome.
Starting Tuesday, June 15 at 7 p.m., Shore Memorial Hospital’s will host the first of six free presentations for the Cancer Survivorship Series: A New Beginning.
The presentations will address a number of issues facing cancer survivors, including:
- Your Cancer Treatment is Over – Now What?
- Communication With Your Healthcare Team
- Late Effects of Cancer Treatment
- Managing Your Stress
- Caring for Your Body After Treatment
- Caring for the Caregiver
The presentations will be held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Rulon Conference Room on the second floor of the Shore Memorial Cancer Center, located at the corner of Shore Road and Brighton Ave.
