Festivities for the Shore Medical Center groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital’s campus expansion plans included a sand sculpture of the new Surgical Pavilion by local artist and sand sculptor John Gowdy. Members of the local clergy blessed the ground where construction for the Surgical Pavilion will take place. Clergy members prayed for the health of the patients, guidance for the caregivers and safety for the people working on the construction project.
