The Pediatric Boardwalk

Rest and Play Promote Healing

Through the eyes of a child a hospital could easily appear to be a scary place, but the Pediatric Care Center at Shore Medical Center is warm and inviting. Designed by the hospital's pediatric nurses to minimize anxiety, the center has many familiar fun landmarks with the look and feel of the Ocean City Boardwalk. Kids love it!

Our commitment to individualized care puts your child at the center of attention. Every resource is focused on your child’s well-being, comfort and rapid healing. There are even accommodations for parents to stay overnight with their child.

Our Ronald McDonald House Family Room is a cozy area filled with toys, art supplies, computer work stations, printers and comfortable furnishings where family members and patients can relax, play, be creative and even take care of business. At Shore Medical Center, you can rest assured knowing that we are dedicated to helping children get well, and helping the whole family feel better, too.
