Neck & Spine Surgery Education Program

Free neck and spine surgery educational sessions take place on the second Thursday of each month from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Shore Medical Center, 2nd Floor Surgical Pavilion Conference Room. Anyone undergoing or considering neck or spine surgery, along with their caregivers and family members is encouraged to attend at least two weeks before the scheduled procedure. Shore Medical Center physicians and staff members from surgical services, preadmission testing, physical therapy and nursing units share information about spine anatomy, preadmission testing, processes during the day of the surgery, inpatient information, physical therapy and rehabilitation and post-surgical care at home. To schedule an appointment, call 609/653-4600.
