Shore Medical Center is your community hospital. It could not exist without the generous support of over 400 volunteers who selflessly give their time, talents and energy. Volunteer support is critical to maintain without compromise Shore's position as a leading-edge hospital.

This group of men, women and students play a crucial role in the healthcare process. They are people of all ages and from all walks of life. Share the rewards, the friendship, and the satisfaction of volunteering.

We invite you to download the printable application or call our office at 609-653-3543 to request that an application be sent to you. The volunteer application process includes a personal interview with the Volunteer Director, a hospital orientation, a two step tuberculin skin test and HIPAA education. Annually volunteers attend an education session and complete a tuberculin skin test.

Junior Volunteers

Students ages 14 through the completion of high school are eligible to apply. Summer program runs June through August with an enrollment period in early spring for the summer program. Fall/winter sessions are also available.

Please call the Volunteer Office at 653-3543 to secure an application packet.
