Summary:

The goal of the PALS Provider Course is to teach healthcare providers to recognize respiratory failure & shock and to identify risk factors for cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.

Description:

This two-day course provides participants with strategies for preventing injuries and cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. It also teaches participants how to perform the cognitive and psychomotor skills for resuscitating and stabilizing infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest.

Cost:

$250 (book included)
Manual: $40
Card Replacement: $15

Prerequisites:

  • Current Basic Life Support / CPR card
  • Completion of Pre-Test

Course Materials:

Pre-course information and the mandatory pre-test will be sent to you upon receipt of your completed registration form and payment.

Course registration information:

Course registration is not confirmed until you have received the pre-course information. If you do not receive the above information two weeks after submitting your registration, please contact the training center at 609-653-3962.

It is strongly suggested that all participants read the PALS Provider Manual.

To help you prepare for this course is an Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) handbook available through the Life Support Training Center for an additional $30.
