Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Kaitlin Becker as its December Guardian Angel of the Month for providing exceptional care to her patients. Whether it is for helping to deliver their first child or providing a meaningful service during a patient’s hospital stay, the Guardian Angel Program was established to enable patients to say thank you to a special caregiver through a donation to Shore Medical Center.
Becker is a RN and lives in Margate City. She began her career at Shore Medical Center as a Graduate Nurse Intern in 2009, became a RN several months later and worked on the 5th Hayes floor. Kaitlin was transferred to the 5th Stainton floor in March of 2010 and continues to provide outstanding patient care there.
“I receive many comments and letters from patients as well as family members stating that Kaitlin goes above and beyond to assure that her patients are comfortable,” said Luanne McGroarty, BSN RN-BC and Nurse Manager of 5th Stainton. She also has been the recipient of several “Pat on the Back” awards, which are used at Shore to recognize employees for going above and beyond in the care they provide for patients and co-workers. Kaitlin is a compassionate and caring nurse and exemplifies the “Spirit of Shore.”
The Guardian Angel is recognized amongst his or her peers and is presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony. For more information about the Guardian Angel Program, please contact the Shore Medical Center Foundation at 609-653-3800.
