For consistently delivering outstanding, patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that OR Materials Specialist James Romancheck has been named the medical center’s November 2012 Employee of the Month.

Romancheck joined Shore in August of 1987 as an Environmental Services Supervisor, a position he held until 1998 when he became an OR Materials Specialist. He is highly respected by his co-workers for efficiently performing his duties and helping to provide superior care to Shore’s patients.

OR Core Inventory Specialist Vittoria Gargan nominated Romancheck for this award, and said his attention to detail, knowledge and ability to work as a team player make him a valuable member of Shore Medical Center.

“Jim is a conscientious and knowledgeable worker who will never let you down,” said Gargan. “He always does the right thing, and makes sure the patient’s needs come first.”

Romancheck lives in Waterford Works, NJ. He said he is honored by his recognition as employee of the month, and pleased to be a member of an organization that has made such a great impact on the community.

“My co-workers and vendors play a big part in my success,” said Romancheck. “I could not do my job without their help, and would like to say thank you for all they do on my behalf.”
