Ocean City Realtors Donate $1,300 to Shore Medical Center’s Pediatric Care Center

November 21, 2012

The Ocean City Board of Realtors, showing their passion for providing children within the community with the highest quality care, presented Shore Medical Center’s groundbreaking Pediatric Care Center with a donation of $1,300 on November 19, 2012.

Ocean City Board of Realtors President Maria Marinelli, of Margate, NJ, led the organization’s “Bubble Mania” fundraiser, which included the sale of T-shirts and bubble liquid during the Ocean City Beachfront Airshow in September of 2012.

Shore’s groundbreaking, kid-friendly Pediatric Care Center was the first of its kind in the state of New Jersey, featuring a dedicated and separate pediatric treatment area for minor illnesses and injuries, as well as inpatient rooms. Children are seen by board certified Emergency Department physicians and specially trained pediatric emergency nurses, in consultation with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) pediatricians who are on site 24/7/365.
