Shore Memorial Hospital recently honored four current and past members of its Board of Trustees during a ceremony on Tuesday, July 15. In recognition of their lifelong dedication and commitment to the hospital, the Board members earned a place on Shore Memorial’s Governance Wall of Honor located in the hospital’s DiOrio Hall.
Shore Memorial’s President and CEO, Albert L. Gutierrez presented a plaque of appreciation to current Hospital Board members Arthur T. Ford, III, Esq., Richard L. Traa, and Richard H. Kabat. President Emeritus Richard A. Pitman presented a plaque of appreciation to the family of Jackson Neall, who was honored posthumously.
“During the years, these four gentlemen served Shore Memorial with incredible devotion and dedication,” says Albert L. Gutierrez, Shore Memorial’s president and CEO. “It gives me great pleasure to see their names included as part of our Governance Wall of Honor.”
Arthur T. Ford, III, Esq. of Somers Point has served on the Hospital Board of Trustees since 1973. He served as Hospital Board chairman from 1982-1983. Earlier this year, he was honored for 35 years of volunteer service to the hospital.
Richard L. Traa of Egg Harbor Township has been a Hospital Board member since 1974. He served as Hospital Board chairman from 1984 to 1985.
Richard H. Kabat of Ocean View has served on Shore Memorial’s Board of Trustees since 1977. He served as Hospital Board chairman from 1998 to 1999.
Jackson Neall, who was honored posthumously, formerly of Ocean City, was a Hospital Board member from 1967 to 1999. He served as Hospital Board chairman from 1974 to 1975.
