Certified Application Counselors Will Educate Public About Healthcare Changes
Certified Application Counselors from the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) will return to Shore Medical Center on Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21, to educate the public and answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and the changes related to expanded Medicaid coverage and New Jersey Family Care. Counselors will be at Shore from 10 am to 7 pm December 20 and 9 am to 5 pm December 21.
During these free sessions, members of the community are invited to meet with NJHA representatives to ask questions and learn more about the potential impacts implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will have on them. The NJHA Certified Application Counselors will be able to guide participants through the ACA enrollment process. No appointments are required.
The Open House will take place in the Pre-Admission Testing registration area on the first floor of Shore Medical Center’s Surgical Pavilion, located at 100 Medical Center Way in Somers Point. Parking will be free in Shore’s self-park garage. For more information, call 609-480-8727.
