Amy Foster, RN, Named Shore Medical Center's December 2014 Guardian Angel

December 03, 2014

Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Amy Foster, RN, as its December 2014 Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients. The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable patients to say thank you to a special caregiver through a donation to Shore Medical Center.

Foster, who lives in Egg Harbor City, came to Shore in 1997 as a staff nurse on the medical center’s 5th Stainton floor.  In 2010, she transitioned to night shift Clinical Supervisor on the same floor, a position she currently holds.

Foster’s coworkers describe her as a detail-oriented team player who is always willing to assist her colleagues with anything they need.  She is also a compassionate patient advocate.  Luanne McGroarty, BSN, RN-BC, nurse manager of 5th Stainton, says of Foster, “We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated employee whose top priority is exceptional patient care.”

The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony. If you, a family member or friend would like to honor a Shore Medical Center Guardian Angel, please contact the Shore Medical Center Foundation at 609-653-3800.
