Ben D’Aulerio, RN, named Shore Medical Center’s October 2015 Guardian Angel of the Month

October 06, 2015

Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Ben D’Aulerio, RN, as its October 2015 Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients.

The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable patients to say thank you to a special caregiver through a donation to Shore Medical Center.

D’Aulerio, of Somers Point, NJ, joined Shore in October 2004. Since that time he has served in various departments and in many roles, from Nurse Aide to Transporter and presently as a Critical Care Nurse in the ICU. Ben has been the recipient of multiple Spirit of Shore awards and Guardian Angel awards throughout the years.

“Ben is very deserving of this award and a true asset not only to the ICU but the entire Shore community,” said Luanne McGroarty BSN RN-BC, Nurse Manager of 5th Stainton and ICU. “Feedback from patients and families he cares for is always so positive. Ben's co-workers describe him as a team player, caring, compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile for his patients and co-workers. Most recently, Ben was the recipient of a generous monetary gift from a patient. In typical Ben fashion, he asked that the money be donated to the Maternity department.”

The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
