Shore Memorial's November Employee of the Month Recognized for Exceptional Work Ethic and Dependability

November 11, 2009

Dependability and responsiveness to staff and patient needs have earned Joe Hutcherson, of transport services, Employee of the Month honors for November.

Hutcherson joined Shore Memorial in October 2005 as a transporter. He is often described as an individual who can always be relied upon to step up to the plate and go above and beyond expectations. The recipient of "Team Player" and "Pat on the Back" awards, he exemplifies the Spirit of Shore values.

"This past March Joe was involved in a Code Blue in Nuclear Medicine. He assisted the Code Team with his quick actions that helped prepare the patient for chest compressions and cardiovascular shock. Throughout the entire process Joe maintained his composure, displayed professionalism and most importantly gave his full attention to the patient and the task at hand. Joe undoubtedly went above and beyond and deserves recognition for an outstanding performance," says Gina Eberly, Nuclear Medicine.

Although Hutcherson was grateful to be named Employee of the Month, he was quick to share this acknowledgment with his fellow co-workers.

“I am extremely proud to be a member of the Shore Memorial family, and this honor is a credit to everyone I work with on a daily basis.”
