Shore Medical Center Names Lisa Carbrey of Estell Manor its December Employee of the Month

January 31, 2018

For consistently delivering outstanding patient-centered service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Senior Programmer Analyst Lisa Carbrey of Estell Manor has been named the medical center’s December 2017 Employee of the Month.

Carbrey came to Shore Medical Center in 2001 as a senior programmer and has been an integral member of the information technology department ever since. She has taken the lead on many major projects, including the transition to a more streamlined insurance billing process and the development of a fully automated electronic billing and payment posting system. She also played a key role in the medical center’s conversion to ICD-10, which classifies medical conditions by code for billing purposes and improves disease management, among many other benefits. Carbrey’s efforts made this major transition as seamless as possible, with minimal disruption to workflow and revenue stream.

The ultimate team player, Carbrey is able to pivot between projects and complete each with skill and a positive attitude. Her colleagues say she is always helpful, no matter the subject, and will do everything she can to help in any situation.

Carbrey grateful to be recognized for her contributions.

“Shore is a great place to work. The support from my team and coworkers is incredible.”

Carbrey grew up in Easton, PA, but spent summers at the shore. She now lives in Estell Manor with her husband Tim. Carbrey has many hobbies, including photography and running tours to Ireland, and she even once ran a race team at Wall Speedway. She especially enjoys spending time with family in Florida at the Red Sox training camp.
