Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Patty Ayers, MSW, LCSW, of its care management team as its June 2017 Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients. The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable members of the community to say thank you to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center.
Ayers joined Shore Medical Center’s care management team in 2014. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ayers is highly specialized and trained in mental health counseling, which makes her an especially valuable member of the care management team. She is a tremendous advocate for the patients and families she supports.
Christine Bracey, MSW, LSW, administrative director of care management at Shore, says Ayers is a caring, respectful and compassionate member of the Shore team.
“Patty always puts her patients and their families first. She is a team player and is ready and willing to assist her colleagues at any moment, as well.”
A family member of a patient who Ayers recently supported shared these words about her:
“Patty gave me great moral support during a very sensitive time when my loved one was very ill. She displayed great judgment and a strong sense of caring which helped me and my loved one tremendously.”
A resident of Mays Landing, Ayers is the proud parent of Zachery and Kaitlyn Feldbauer. In addition to her role at Shore Medical Center, she is also an adjunct instructor at Stockton University, where she teaches a course in the School of General Studies.
The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
