On May 18, 2017, Shore Medical Center’s School of Radiologic Technology graduated fourteen students during a ceremony at Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point, NJ.
Following completion of the full-time, 21-month program, students receive a certificate in Radiologic Technology and are eligible to apply for the National American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Examination and for state licensure.
Through the school’s co-operative with Atlantic Cape Community College four students, Brianna Hill of Cape May, Michael McLaughlin of Pleasantville, Kristopher Luckenbach, of Somers Point, and Julie Muller of Egg Harbor Township, received their Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. Also, through the school’s partnership with Gywnedd Mercy University, Danielle Oster of Stratford and Alyssa Rivera of Mays Landing received a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
During the ceremony, Francis Marinelli, of Egg Harbor Twp., was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Performance Award. Each year a student who has performed exceptional patient care and shown outstanding knowledge in the clinical portion of the program is selected to receive this award. Alyssa Rivera, of Mays Landing, received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for having the highest grade point average in the graduating class.
