Shore Medical Center COVID-19 Fund

Our nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists and support staff are on the front lines fighting the COVID-19 virus, determined to provide you and your family with the best possible care, no matter the circumstances. We are thankful to each of them for the sacrifices they make in order to care for our community, especially in these very difficult times.

As your community hospital, Shore Medical Center is actively preparing to respond to an influx of patients with COVID-19. Our team has been working diligently to prepare for the days and weeks ahead, and we are so appreciative of their talents, passion, and commitment.

How You Can Help

In times like these, we need the help of people like you, more than ever. The battle could go on for weeks, even months. Have confidence that we are well prepared, but our resources will need to be replenished. You can help by making a financial gift today.

We have established a COVID-19 fund where you can make a gift right now. We understand these are uncertain times for everyone, but if you have the means, your community hospital needs you now. Please consider making a contribution to Shore Medical Center. We offer many giving levels, including our Lightkeeper’s Society ($5,000 annual contribution); Stainton Society ($500 annual contribution); and of course, any amount that you can give.  For gifts of $1,000 or more, please contact Mary McGuckin, Lightkeeper’s Society Manager, at mmcguckin@shoremedicalcenter.org.

Continue to heed all of the recommendations provided by the NJ Department of Health and the CDC. By staying home and away from others, you are helping to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of this devastating disease. You’re helping to reduce the burden on our healthcare institutions so we can save as many lives as possible.

Thank you for your support.
