Shore Medical Center Names Nurse Aide Jamira Junne of Egg Harbor Township its May Guardian Angel of the Month

Shore Medical Center announced today that 5 Stainton Nurse Aide Jamira Junne, of Egg Harbor Township, has been named its May Guardian Angel of the Month for her dedication and commitment to Shore’s patients. The Guardian Angel program was established to enable community members to say 'thank you' to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center in their honor.

Junne has been working on the 5 Stainton Unit at Shore Medical Center for one year. She is a reliable and dedicated team player.

Jennifer Cressey, 5 Stainton Manager, says, “Jamira is our go-to colleague, always ready and willing to jump in and help her team and her patients. She has become a leader on our unit, and is very motivated to grow. She is a big champion of our mobility initiative and has done a lot of work in this area.”

Recently, the wife of a Shore patient recognized Junne for her exceptional care by making a Guardian Angel donation to Shore in her honor. She said, “Jamira treated my husband with the utmost respect and gave him all the attention he required. She was a great listener and truly made him feel that he was very important and well taken care of. Thank you, Jamira.”

In addition to her role as a Nurse Aide at Shore, Junne also serves as a substitute teacher our region.

Shore Medical Center's Guardian Angel program provides an opportunity for patients and families to recognize anyone at Shore who makes a difference in their care or experience. Guardian Angels are recognized among their peers and presented with a Guardian Angel pin at Shore's annual pinning ceremony.
