Shore Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

Out of 3,099 hospitals submitting accountability measures to The Joint Commission, Shore Medical Center was one of only 405 - and the only regional facility - to meet or exceed the commission's target rates of performance for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care in 2010.
