A Cause to Celebrate Gala

Join us on Friday, October 10 to celebrate the "A Cause to Celebrates" 10th Anniversary! This year's honoree with be Chris & Andrea Monihan and the Renee Parker Monihan Foundation.  

Over the past 10 years, Shore has hosted its signature event, its “A Cause to Celebrate” Gala, which has raised nearly $5 million for patient care at Shore Medical Center. We are thrilled to have Penn Medicine as our Presenting Sponsor.  The Shore Medical Center & Penn Medicine connection highlights the care that is being provided right here in Somers Point in the areas of Cardiology, Pulmonology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neuroscience, Surgery and Cancer care.

We are very excited to announce that the 2025 A Cause to Celebrate Gala will return to the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City and will bring a little bit of “Old Hollywood” to Atlantic City. This year’s event will continue to shine the spotlight on all areas of Shore Medical Center and is a wonderful chance to celebrate the great work being done throughout the hospital, from our surgical tower and emergency department to our maternity unit and rehabilitation services. Here are just some of the projects that your donation will impact:

• Pediatric & Adult Sensory Friendly Programs
• Patient room refresh projects throughout the hospital & new patient beds
• Defibrillators
• Blood bank analyzer, which helps providers diagnose and monitor diseases like anemia, leukemia, and sepsis
