Shore Medical Center recently named ER Nurse Bill Bingham, RN, its December Employee of the Month for consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying the organization's mission, vision, and values.
A resident of Galloway, Bingham began his career at Shore as an ER nurse in November 2023. He embodies what it means to be a true team player. He consistently takes full responsibility for the care and well-being of his assigned patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. He is also frequently seen sitting with family members, offering support and reassurance during challenging moments. Known for his composure and attentiveness, Bingham not only manages his own patients but remains aware of the needs of others in the busy Emergency Department as well.
“Bill demonstrates an exceptional ability to maintain composure even in the most difficult and emotional situations,” said Sherri Richmond, MSN, RN, Director of Emergency Services. “Patients and their family members love him and the care he provides. Bill is respected and well-liked by nurses, physicians, technicians, and housekeepers. He is a joy to work with and an asset to the Emergency Department and to Shore Medical Center.”
In addition to his clinical expertise, Bingham is often the first to volunteer for additional shifts or to assist when help is needed. His commitment to staying current in emergency medicine is reflected in his continuous pursuit of educational opportunities to enhance his skills and knowledge.
Outside of work, Bingham enjoys going to the gym, baking and cooking, and spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Finnegan.
