The Day of Your Test
Please be sure to bring the following information on the day of your test:
- Be sure to follow pre-test instructions, some tests may require you to fast.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for registration.
- Bring your prescription, insurance referral if required, insurance card and photo identification.
- If you're not fasting, come later in the day. Late morning and afternoons are less busy times.

Shore Medical Center is proud to offer sensory-friendly outpatient testing by appointment for bloodwork and EKGs—designed specifically for neurodiverse children and adults.
This program provides a calm, supportive environment that helps reduce stress and sensory overload during medical testing.

A manager will call you back within 24 hours to complete the sensory conference and schedule your appointment.
What to Expect on Arrival
- Parking: Use the ER parking lot across from the hospital’s main entrance.
- Gate Access: Approach the gate slowly and it will open automatically. (If arriving between 6–9am, Mon–Fri, call Security at 609-653-3762 to open the gate.)
