For consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s Mission, Vision and Values, Shore is proud to announce that Respiratory Therapist Paul Patel, BS, RRT, has been named the medical center’s May 2023 Employee of the Month.
Patel has been a member of Shore Medical Center’s Respiratory Therapy Department for 15 years. He is a strong patient advocate who understands the importance of consistency and quality in patient care. While Patel is proficient and efficient with his own assignments, he is also always willing to help his coworkers and to onboard new respiratory therapists, readily sharing his expertise and experience. Patel is also a strong Charge Therapist, leads by example and sets high standards for himself.
Karen McKinley, Director of Respiratory, says, “I have relied heavily on Paul over this past year to assist me and he always comes through. He is most willing to help with department projects and initiatives. He goes above and beyond to assist with the daily operations of the department.”
Patel lives in Egg Harbor Township with his wife and four children, and in his spare time he enjoys going to the gym.
