For consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s mission, vision and values, Christopher Maffei has been named Shore’s January Employee of the Month.
Maffei is a Cerner Team Program Analyst in the IT department at Shore Medical Center, where he works with the Cerner electronic health record system writing reports, managing the provider portal and patient portal access. He has been with Shore Medical Center since graduating from Rowan University three years ago.
Jeremy Albergo, Cerner Team Manager, says that Maffei’s programming ability as it relates to report writing has proven time and time again to be a tremendous organizational asset.
“Chris is talented in creating reports for leadership, both clinical and nonclinical. He has shown to be a quick learner and people have recognized how easy he is to work with in the development of custom reports,” Albergo says. “Chris has gone above and beyond in support of providers accessing the provider portal as well as supporting patient experience, and patients accessing the patient portal. He provides excellent service to achieve patient and user satisfaction. Chris has grown professionally in his three years at Shore, and I’m very excited to see him continue to grow and develop into a leader.”
Maffei resides in Steelmantown and in his spare time enjoys metal working, craft beer tasting and going to music festivals.
