Shore Medical Center Names Life Support Training Coordinator Glenda Stogel of Egg Harbor Township its March Employee of the Month

Shore Medical Center recently named Life Support Training Coordinator Glenda Stogel its March Employee of the Month for consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying the organization's mission, vision, and values.

A dedicated member of the Shore Medical Center team since 2021, Stogel has played a pivotal role in coordinating American Heart Association (AHA) certification needs for both employees and the community. Originally hired as a PRN (as-needed) employee, she quickly transitioned to part-time and has since taken the lead in managing the Life Support Training Center. Her efforts have helped expand the program, strengthen the instructor and staff pools, and ensure compliance with AHA standards.

“Glenda is an incredible asset to Shore Medical Center,” said Stogel’s supervisor Jennifer Pero, MSN, RN, Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehab and the Life Support Training Center. “She stepped up during the pandemic to manage and grow our training center, all while maintaining the highest level of compliance and professionalism. To say she is detail-oriented is an understatement—she is thorough, dependable, and flexible, with a huge heart dedicated to Shore, the American Heart Association, our community, and her peers.”

A resident of Egg Harbor Township, Stogel has a longstanding commitment to service. In addition to her role at Shore, she founded the Medical Explorers Program at Shore Medical Center in 1991 and continues to be active in community volunteer efforts. She also enjoys traveling in her free time.
