Shore Medical Center announced today that Labor & Delivery Nurse Arianna Jones, RN, of Cape May Court House, has been named its January Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional patient care. Shore established the Guardian Angel program to enable community members to say 'thank you' to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center in their honor.
Jones came to Shore in 2019 as a nurse on the 5 Hayes Unit, and transferred to maternity in June 2023. Nicole DeCicco, Nurse Manager of Shore’s Maternity Unit, says Jones is a great asset to the department.
“Arianna is a hardworking dedicated nurse,” DeCicco says. “She provides all her patients with kindness and a smile.”
The family member of a maternity patient recently made a Guardian Angel donation to the medical center in Jones’ honor and had this to say about her:
“Our angel Arianna was the most caring & loving nurse my daughter could have had when delivering her baby. Arianna gave her and my new grandson the best care, she’s truly a gift and such an asset to your hospital.”
